Sur-Ron Light Bee X

10 kW peak power, 295 Nm of torque at the wheel, a 50 mph (80 km/h) top speed, a 72 V battery architecture, an MTPA/MTPV FOC controller, 2-level Sur-Ron Wheelie Control (assist), electronic gyroscope tilt protection, an emergency brake-light strobe, and White, Black, Purple and Green colour options. The chassis, wheel sizes and suspension platform carry over from the previous generation with minor revisions.

SWC is Sur-Ron's Wheelie Control. Important: it is a wheelie ASSIST, not an anti-wheelie. The bike helps you pull and hold a controlled wheelie even if you have never done one before. A gyroscope reads the pitch angle and the controller manages power so the front comes up smoothly to a manageable balance point. You hold it with the throttle and ease off to set down. Adjustable across 2 levels and can be turned off entirely if you would rather ride without electronic assistance. Note: if you are confused, SWC (on Light Bee X and Ultra Bee) is the opposite of SAWC on the Hyper Bee, which keeps the front down for younger riders.

SWC is a wheelie assist, not an anti-wheelie. An onboard gyroscope reads the bike's pitch angle and the controller manages power delivery so the front lifts smoothly to a balance point, and you modulate the throttle to hold the wheelie or ease off to set the front back down. It has 2 assist levels plus off, and Sur-Ron advises turning it off for jumps where the front needs to come up on your timing, not the system's.

Electronic gyroscope tilt protection that cuts power if the bike tips past a defined angle, throttle override protection, power system high and low temperature protection, high and low voltage protection, overcurrent protection, side-stand protection that stops the motor running with the stand down, and an emergency brake flash that strobes the taillight under hard braking.

No. The Light Bee X is off-road only and not type-approved for UK public roads. It is for private land, MX tracks, motorsport venues and trail centres. We only sell off-road models.

We offer Payitmonthly finance over 12 months. Payitmonthly charge no interest and no fees, but the bike costs more when you buy it on finance: £99 more on the Hyper Bee, and £149 more on the Light Bee X, and £199 more on the Ultra Bee. That difference is ours, not theirs, and it is why we quote an APR rather than 0%. Everything is fixed for the 12 months, there is no deposit, and nothing is added later. For UK warehouse models, delivery usually arrives within 2 to 3 working days. We can typically have the bike collected by our courier the next working day after you order, and delivered the working day after that. Delivery times are estimates and occasional delays can happen. China warehouse bikes usually take around 60 days from order, and may occasionally take a little longer if delays occur.

Our bikes cannot be connected to the Sur-Ron app due to technical limitations with product regions. This does not change the functionality of the bike, as the app is not needed for using the bike as usual.
