Build Service, free: we will fully build and PDI-test your bike before it leaves us at no extra cost. Built bikes cannot be posted, so you collect from us or book your own courier. Shiply lists specialist motorbike couriers, averaging around £150 per delivery. Message us on WhatsApp before you order: depending on where you are we may be able to deliver the built bike ourselves, or point you to a courier we rate. Prefer free delivery? Choose delivered boxed and we ship to your door free of charge: the bike arrives almost fully built, with only the front wheel and handlebars to attach.
Light. Rigid. Stable. That is Sur-Ron's brief for the 2026 Light Bee X, and the spec sheet backs it up: the biggest year-on-year jump Sur-Ron has made on this platform since launch. A 10 kW PMSM mid-drive with MTPA/MTPV FOC control, 295 Nm at the wheel, a 50 mph (80 km/h) top speed, and a higher-voltage 72 V battery. Same chassis you trust, more bike everywhere else.
POWER
The 10kW PMSM mid-drive puts 295 N·m through the rear wheel: 0 to 31 mph in 2.5 seconds and a 50 mph (80 km/h) top speed.
CONTROL
The self-developed MTPA/MTPV FOC controller makes thousands of adjustments per second for smooth, predictable throttle, with adjustable power delivery, throttle curves and regen.
BATTERY
Higher voltage means less heat under sustained load. IP67 sealed, 50G shock resistant, removable for indoor charging, and 20 to 80% takes 2.15 hours.
SUSPENSION
The fully adjustable Intersect TR rear system keeps the rear wheel tracking across rough terrain, with 85 mm of shock travel.
FRONT END
Inverted front forks with 200 mm of travel soak up the hits so the front stays planted on loose and demanding ground.
BRAKING
Integrated forged opposed four-piston calipers deliver strong, consistent braking, and the emergency brake flash warns riders behind you under hard stops.
The 2026 Light Bee X is offered in White, Black, Purple and Green, all proper paint rather than vinyl wrap.

No. The Light Bee X is off-road only and not type-approved for UK public roads. It is for private land, MX tracks, motorsport venues and trail centres. We only sell off-road models.

Our bikes cannot be connected to the Sur-Ron app due to technical limitations with product regions. This does not change the functionality of the bike, as the app is not needed for using the bike as usual.
